Service technician

Service technician

After four years of intense design and development work, Candela kicked off serial production at the end of 2018. We are now delivering the first batch of boats to customers – super exciting! – and during the fall we’ll start scaling up production. For that effort we want to recruit a number of passionate and talented team members.

As service technician, you will be the spearhead in building the Nordic support organisation, ensuring our customers get fast help if the have any issues with their Candela. Almost starting from scratch, you’ll be working together with the sales, production, and engineering teams to make sure Candela can offer our customers excellent support in time for the 2020 Nordic boating season. To really understand the ins and outs of a Candela, you will work hands-on with production of boats for the first 6-9 months, and then continuously with repairs.

This role is a nice combination of hands-on work and customer service. Our hope is that you have quite a lot of experience working practically with your hands, ideally with things related to mechanics, electronics and/or boats - and you love it. But also that you really enjoy interacting with people, finding and solving their problems. During boating season, there will be fair amount of boating, so experience of handling traditional boat in the archipelago is a must – you will learn how to drive a Candela as part of the job (it’s easy!). And for boat logistics a drivers licence - ideally BE - will be need.

We are currently fifteen people based in our Gåshaga facility on Lidingö, growing fast. As a team we are very diverse, covering ten nationalities and specialties ranging from electronics design to composite lamination. We love and are 100% focused on what we do, but are at the same time conscious about finding an acceptable balance with our lives outside Candela. And being good to each other is key – work is hard but should be fun. Candela ia a great place to work. And an insanely cool product.
